Sharepoint Design / UX Consultant - Boston, MA

Full time, permanent position in Boston

This candidate will create visual designs that support the requirement of our clients internal websites built on the SharePoint platform. This position includes the creative process from design to execution. The candidate must be able to understand interactive experiences from a business perspective.

Responsibilities:
-Work closely with and communicate with Programmer/Analysts and Senior Programmer/Analysts to create, develop, and establish applications to meet the business needs throughout the companies utilizing technology. (Technology includes, but not limited to SharePoint &Distributed Applications, .NET).

-Work closely with and communicate with customers in various departments and business units in the Companies to gather and analyze and document their business requirements, develop and build productive working relationships, identify solutions that will benefit customers, and help customers define necessary program changes or system enhancements.

-Be the leader in establishing global standards for all applications.

-Develop parameters for design and process.

-Design and write high performance, reliable, and easily maintained code.

-Work with other developers and mentor them in best practices as they pertain to application integration and design.

-Perform software testing, debugging, documentation, and installation tasks for online and batch processes.

-Cultivate effective working relationships between client and its customers.

-Resolve problems and issues in supported applications and environments.

-Monitor and continually improve the content, quality and documentation of all applications.

-Promote the coordination and communication of actions within companies.

-Effectively manage personal tasks and the tasks of others on the team.

-Manage personal workload and the workload of others to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner; use available resources to provide quality solutions to meet customer needs.
