Investment Systems Developer

We are looking for an energetic individual with strong hands-on .Net programming and SQL database technical skills to join our Strategic Initiatives Group. This close knit team of twelve builds, manages and supports all technologies used across the firm. As a developer in this group, you will report directly to the head of development. You will design, build, enhance and support mission-critical systems to ensure customer satisfaction.


Summary of essential job functions

Has 4+ years of experience in database development and support in MS SQL Server environments.

The Database Administrator will have responsibility and technical ownership of multiple enterprise Microsoft SQL Server systems in the client's 24x7 global database environment. This resource will oversee the development and organization of the databases, assess and implement new technologies, and provide Information Technology with a long-term perspective on the relationship of database technology to the business opportunities facing the company. The DBA is challenged to work with architecture, application development and infrastructure to meet current and future business objectives. Senior technical expert in Warehouse Application Delivery solutions to advise and lead architecture initiatives.

This is a "hands-on" architectural role requiring experience with a variety of Application Development and Delivery techniques – specific expertise in database and warehouse design/delivery using tools and products such as Oracle 11g, DB2 /UDB and appliance based solutions (Teradata).

Senior application development manager expert in the design, development and integration of heterogeneous Security based solutions to advise and lead Architecture initiatives. This is a highly "hands-on" architectural/development role requiring experience with a variety of Security platforms, technologies, processes, and disciplines, including Siteminder, Federated Security, other authentication products, and coarse/fine grained entitlements platforms.
