Senior technical expert in Warehouse Application Delivery solutions to advise and lead architecture initiatives.
This is a "hands-on" architectural role requiring experience with a variety of Application Development and Delivery techniques – specific expertise in database and warehouse design/delivery using tools and products such as Oracle 11g, DB2 /UDB and appliance based solutions (Teradata).
The resource will be responsible for delivering the end-state Application and Delivery Architecture for the data management program along with cross data center application database integration and support of the Cloud delivery.
The resource will be the responsible for leading offshore development and delivery teams to exercise the variety of software options available in the modern/mature RDBMS.
The resource must be familiar with the multiple development methodologies related to warehousing both the Inman and Kimball theories are a plus.
The resource must have a proven ability n the delivery space for large data warehousing efforts with experience in the appliance based deployment (Teradata, Green Plum, IBM DB2)
The resource will be responsible for hands-on technology evaluations both on-site and leveraging off-shore resources and developing roadmaps for the adoption of these solutions that reflect the business needs.
Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related area. Must have domain expertise in a Warehousing technology; Cloud based application delivery, Experience in leading Application Development and deployment is a must.
Must be capable of performing detailed technology analysis and developing concrete recommendations based on that analysis.
Must be able to work in a highly complex, heterogeneous environment with a wide variety of business needs.
Must have excellent oral and written communications

• Data Modeling for Warehouses and Marts
• Workload management utilizing the appliance base solutions
• Large Database data loading through replication and streaming activities
• Real time data warehousing techniques
• ETL tooling and usage
