Risk Business Analyst

Full time, permanent role in Boston

Emoployee will serve as the BA lead for project workstream.

Direct cross-functional efforts with solid understanding of Risk systems and system development lifecycle methodology to support complex Risk projects through their life cycle.
Facilitate user requirement meetings and create use case catalogs, functional specification & requirements in working with the project team.
Model, document, analyze, lead and review detailed business requirements and serve as advocate for business area regarding business and systems requirements.
Identify critical issues with ease and strive for creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing practices.
Act as liaison between users, developers, testers, and implementation specialists.


Manage domestic and offshore BA consultant resources & provide direct oversight on day-to-day direction and deliverables. Proactively serve in project leadership roles and manage the process of innovative change.



Qualifications:
EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree or its equivalent with strong analytical expertise; detail oriented. Financial background & knowledge is required.

SKILLS:

Demonstrate competency to support complex projects. Ability to identify opportunities for innovation with strong communication skills and ability to transform into actionable items. Strong listening skill, organizational skills and customer service skills with ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at the same time. Market Risk and/or Credit Risk knowledge are a plus.

REMARKS:

This is a hands-on business analyst/system analyst position. Financial background & knowledge are required.
