Development Manager

Full time position - New group at a global investment management firm


Senior application development manager expert in the design, development and integration of heterogeneous Security based solutions to advise and lead Architecture initiatives. This is a highly "hands-on" architectural/development role requiring experience with a variety of Security platforms, technologies, processes, and disciplines, including Siteminder, Federated Security, other authentication products, and coarse/fine grained entitlements platforms. Must have experience in Unix, Linux, zLinux, Oracle, DB2, Java, C++, PERL, and UNIX Scripting. Must have strong development track record in building J2EE/Java-based applications, with experience in enterprise-wide systems implementations.

The resource will manage on shore and offshore staff, and provide guidance and support for cross-company and inter-departmental projects. This resource will be responsible for Security application developments, and help define Security architectural standards and practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related area. Experience working with dual shore project teams is required. Experience in Agile Development and Cloud computing preferred. Must have excellent oral and written communications.
