Description
Senior technical expert in Virtual Desktop technology solutions to advise and lead of architecture initiatives.
This is a highly "hands-on" architectural role requiring experience with a variety of VDI platforms, technologies, processes, and disciplines, including Hypervisors, Connection Brokers, Protocols and Vendor Solutions including Citrix, VMWare, Redhat and others.
The resource will be responsible for driving the complete end-state VDI Architecture, performing hands-on technology evaluations both on-site and leveraging off-shore resources and developing roadmaps for the adoption of these solutions that truly reflect our business needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related area. Must have domain expertise in Windows Operating Systems, Virtual and Cloud technologies as they apply to Desktops. Knowledge of the impacts to Networks and Storage systems is also required.
Experience in Application Development and deployment is a plus.
Must be capable of performing detailed technology analysis and developing concrete recommendations based on that analysis.
Must have excellent oral and written communications.
