Information Risk Awareness Consultant - Boston, MA

Permanent position in Boston

Job Summary
This role will be responsible for the development and implementation of an Enterprise Wide - Information Security (Risk Management) Training and Awareness strategy for all employees (including subsidiaries and third party contractors).

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

Drive the development and implementation of a measurable enterprise-wide information risk awareness program to help protect the company brand by influencing employee behavior.
Design, produce, and deliver compelling and innovative information r isk related awareness campaigns.
Design and Integrate annual Information Risk Management training into mandatory enterprise training efforts.
Provide guidance and education to employees, contractors and vendors about Information Risk Management policies, risks and controls, and expectations.
Create marketing and promotional material to educate employees on IT Standards & Policies, security best practices and privacy issues.
Conduct focused employee awareness and training efforts to rais e employee consciousness of the IT Risk framework.
Collaborate with company subsidiaries and Field support team on awareness activities.
Develop security awareness campaign calendar and coordinate activities with all necessary departments.
Define and report on key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas of weakness.
Stay current on security-related products and technologies through a variety of sources such as training, independent research, industry groups, etc.
Coordinate annual Privacy Fair and Security Symposium for senior management.

Experience:

At least 8 years of Information Security Awareness, Marketing or relevant equivalent business experience.
Experience must include building global training strategies for diverse audiences (i.e., size, culture, language needs of audience).
Certifications in Information Security highly desirable, including CISA, CISSP, ISSEP, GIAC, and PMP.
Knowledge of Information Risk Management required.
Exceptional communication and influencing skills. Must be able to interact with senior leaders and influence change within the organization.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Adept at creating visually stimulating and exciting presentations
Must possess superior organizational skills; must be detail oriented.
Must be Creative, energetic, and organized.
Experience in financial services is preferable.
Strong presentation skills and strong negotiating skills are required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent experience preferred.
