Job Summary
The .NET/SharePoint Developer will act as a technical resource for the implementation of SharePoint 2010 Employee Intranet. Provide SharePoint design work, development, and documentation.
The Developer's responsibilities include:
Participating in the design, development, customization and integration efforts of corporate SharePoint solutions involving
Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, and Business Process and Forms.
Assist other developers, analysts, and designers in conceptualizing and developing SharePoint solutions.
Provide expertise and support to end users and other members of the IT support team.
Conduct research on emerging SharePoint development tools and strategies.
Recommend, schedule, and perform Application improvements and upgrades.
Provide production support for the Corporate application portfolio.
Job Responsibilities & Requirements
Qualified Candidates will have:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
5+ years' experience developing Microsoft SharePoint applications
Experience in developing Windows SharePoint Services, .NET Framework, MS SQL Server, Visual Studio 2008 /2010, C#,
ASP.Net, VB.NET, XML, HTML, JavaScript
A solid understanding of business workflows and capabilities of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007/2010, Windows
SharePoint Services 2.0 and 3.0, SharePoint Designer 2007/2010, Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server, and Microsoft Office suite of products (InfoPath forms, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint, Word Documents)
Knowledge of architectural design, hands on SharePoint/Web development, management and troubleshooting with a focus on deploying and supporting corporate SharePoint solutions
Knowledge of LDAP/Active Directory authentication and group security as it applies to SharePoint
Experience in migrating SharePoint 2007 sites to the SharePoint 2010 platform a plus
Working knowledge of Microsoft IIS
Experience in working with development, staging and production environments.
Ability to work with pre-existing guidelines, standard operating procedures in a fast-paced professional environment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, (written, and verbal)
Strong attention to details, highly organized, computer literate
Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment
