eLearning Instructional Designer

Full time, permanent position
Location: Waltham, MA

As an e-learning instructional designer, your responsibilities would include:

* Creating e-learning modules from start to finish—planning, designing, storyboarding, and scripting—using e-learning tools such as Captivate and Lectora
* Interacting with a wide range of subject matter experts (engineers, business professionals, and managers) to thoroughly research and learn about software provided to our clients
* Working hands-on with the software in order to write clear, concise, and easy-to-follow instructions to explain complex concepts
* Managing the flow of projects from inception through delivery

The ideal candidate would also meet the following requirements:

* Experience with researching and selecting appropriate software tools for planned projects
* Knowledge of adult learning principles
* Experience with writing reference sheets, online help, user guides, tutorials, and other instructional materials for end users
* Comfort with creating new processes, championing new projects, and working on multiple large projects simultaneously
* A commitment to being persistent and paying attention to the details
* Demonstrated ability to be flexible and embrace changes in project scope and schedule
* At least one year of experience with instructional design, a plus
* Knowledge of financial concepts and experience with financial software, a plus
* Experience with podcasts, a plus
