Senior PeopleSoft Financial Software Engineer

Client: $200 billion mutual fund company in Boston

Full time PeopleSoft developer position

Job Description:
Provide application support to Finance and Human Resources Peoplesoft modules. Assist with the Peoplesoft upgrade and implementation of e-modules and ASP solutions.

-Work in a fast-paced environment supporting investment personnel and department applications.
-Work with business/quality assurance analysts to analyze user needs and develop project specifications.
-Carries out programming functions. Writes, debugs, codes and tests program modules that make up integrated computer systems as well as writes accompanying documentation.
-Meets with managers or project leaders to define systems needs and to design applications.
-Researches and resolves flow of information and software problems.
-Mentor junior team members.
-Assumes additional responsibilities as requested.


Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or higher.
-Minimum of 4 years Peoplesoft development experience using Application Designer, Data Mover, SQR, PS Query, PeopleCode and Application Engine.
-4 years of technical support for Peoplesoft Financials and Peoplesoft Human Resources version 8.4 or greater
-Application development with PeopleTools 8.44 or greater and related third party tools.
-Complete understanding of application messaging configuration, customization, and development.
-Financial services experience highly preferred.
-Relational database knowledge required.
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
