Eagle Pace Developer

Client is a prestigious financial firm in downtown Boston


Overview:

Reporting to the Manager of PACE Development, the PACE Developer will be responsible for the development, integration, and support of PACE related enhancements. The development team is responsible for importers, exporters, code release, service pack deployments, Advanced Reports, scheduling, and bug fixing. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years experience working in PACE as a developer writing uploader and exporter code. A strong knowledge of back-office investment operations would also be preferred.


Mandatory requirements:
• 2-3 years Eagle PACE development experience - uploaders and exporters
• 3+ years experience in the financial services industry
• 3-5 years experience in a systems analyst / developer role
• 5+ years experience in an IT organization
• Undergraduate degree in technology discipline or equivalent experience

Skills:
• 5+ years of IT related experience in the investment/securities industry. Specific experience in working with Eagle PACE.
• Strong business/technical perspective and knowledge of the investment/securities industry.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of standard design methodologies and principles.
• Extremely strong interpersonal skills, proven ability to work directly with the business community
• Must be willing to take initiative and employ good follow-through skills
