Description
Reporting to the Business Analyst Manager, Derivatives Program Management Office, the incumbent is accountable for completing multiple business initiatives as assigned by the Business Analyst Manager to identify, document, analyze and provide solutions related to complex processing, service and/or technical improvement opportunities.
Responsibilities include:
Work with the Business Analyst Manager and senior management to define and manage the scope, strategy and requirements of business initiatives with specific emphasis on creating integrated strategic solutions.
Identify and document complex operational business issues and facilitate development of creative solutions involving workflow procedures and/or new technologies that are consistent with business long-term strategic plans. Provide recommendations to the Business Analyst Manager.
Document and execute Business Test plans and cases for business issues in a timely fashion
Provide results and recommendations to the Business Analyst Manager.
Consult with management on business planning, direction and identifying opportunities to reduce expenses and improve efficiencies
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required.
Minimum 4-6 years of progressive business analysis experience involving Derivatives. This would include specific instruments such as Interest Rate Derivatives, Currency Swaps, FX and Forwards.
Strong knowledge of the clients' business operations and issues, along with a strong understanding of the Company's various businesses and an awareness of current issues.
Highly Developed understanding of derivative applications within the Investment division and outside the firm.
Has moderate to in-depth knowledge of derivative applications and or business units
Excellent analytical and diagnostic skills with knowledge and understanding of process design, analytical and productivity improvement methodologies.
