Oracle PL/SQL developer

Webster MA location
This is a full time, permanent position.


This open position is for an experienced Oracle PL/SQL developer who has successfully worked on large complex projects and has demonstrated strong communication, leadership and time management skills. This individual needs to be able to work on tasks independently and mentor less experienced developers.

Primary responsibility for this position are:

Work within a large scale project team on the implementation of an enterprise wide system.
Primary focus will be to build or modify PL/SQL programs to support project implementation.
Adhere to aggressive project timelines.
Adhere to IT Development standards and practices.
Complete all required documentation necessary for code design, construction and testing.
Work closely with the project team.
Work through requirements with business analysts and business users when necessary.


Skill Sets:
Oracle PL/SQL programmer with 5 plus years experience on Oracle 10.x or above.
Java experience preferred
CVS (Code management systems) experience preferred
AIX platform experience a plus
Data Warehousing experience a plus
ETL experience a plus
FoxPro experience a plus
Insurance background a plus
