AVS Endur Developer

Permanent position in Boston

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

* Technical development knowledge or experience supporting some/all of the following applications preferred:

Openlink’s Endur - Trading and Risk Management Application – AVS, .NET, Java

Ventyx – product suite consisting of various applications – nMarket, Offer Mgr, Portfolio Mgr, Velocity Suite

Data Acquisition – Logical Information Machines (LIM), and other 3rd party data provider solutions

Data Integration, Data Warehousing and Reporting – Informatica ETL, Oracle, Business Objects

Database Querie Tools – Transact SQL, PL/SQL

Project Governance Tools – HP, Remedy, Sharepoint, Microsoft Project

* Must possess strong technical architecture skills, with the ability to work independently while remaining closely tied with organizational goals and objectives.
* Strong Project Management skills. Professional certifications are preferred, not required. The candidate must be familiar with the basic processes of project management and be able to adhere and enforce these processes.
* Build strong relationships with technical and consulting partners. Must have strong communications and listening skills.

Required:

* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences, Engineering or related technical field. Equivalent related technical experience may be substituted.
* 5 to 7 years work experience in a technical discipline, preferably supporting one of the following business types: Energy, Commodities, Finance, Risk Management, or related field.
* Demonstrated experience managing IT projects.
