Full time Project Manager role
Job Description:
-Manages and executes all classifications of IT Projects for cross functional departments within the organization including, but not limited to pre-approval planning, project charter creation, approvals, developing and maintaining project plan, execution, and closeout.
-Works with different business units to facilitate the establishment of processes to increase efficiencies of current project management technologies.
-Leads projects and is directly accountable for meeting project objectives including timelines and budgeting.
-Manages multiple projects simultaneously
-Act as a Business Analyst on projects with a development component initiated by IT.
-Proactively develops and maintains knowledge of information systems and their related components (general IT knowledge) to assist with understanding or troubleshooting problems as they present themselves.
-Leverages technology to automate manual tasks, and seeks to improve efficiency wherever practicable and appropriate.
-Provides leadership and manages any situation that may present itself with projects or personnel.
-Build relationships with other departments
-Presents technology/project briefings to the Project Management Team, IT, and business line management as required.
-Demonstrates ability to interact and communicate well with members of senior management.
-Creates projects and perform project maintenance using the project management application.
-Identifies necessary resources for a project and be able to negotiate and obtain time of team members and coordinate their time between multiple projects.
-Resolves any conflicts with project team or functional areas.
-Sets project agenda, tracks project timelines, costs, metrics and other goals.
-Executes best project practices.
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related technical field. Master's degree or equivalent preferred. -Ten or more (10+) years of related Information Technology experience.
-Five or more years (5+) of IT Project Management experience or Project Management equivalence.
-Expert knowledge in the area of IT project management
-Strong knowledge of multiple technologies, platforms, and programming languages.
-Strong knowledge of the Project Management Institute Knowledge Areas as defined in the Body of Knowledge.
-Solid understanding of Systems/Software Development Life Cycle models.
-Demonstrated ability to work effectively with employees at all organizational levels.-Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
-Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
-Strong organizational and financial skills.
-Strong time management skills.
-Proven ability to manage projects efficiently and effectively in a well organized manner.
-Ability to prioritize and utilize resources to meet deadlines.
-Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or working towards certification.
-Experience as a Business System Analyst a plus.

-Reviews IT Project Management checklists on weekly and monthly basis.
-Enforces and maintains Information Security controls, procedures, and standards. Aids in the development of controls, procedures and standards as required.
-Receives broad goals and overall objectives from Management and proactively establishes and implements the methods to attain them.
