Software Engineer – Boston, MA




QUALIFICATIONS:
Full time, permanent position


• Experience/Expertise with .NET, C#, WCF, WPF, SQL.
• Experience/Expertise with Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS, SharePoint, etc.
• Excellent communication skills, as well as organizational, analytical, problem solving skills.

• Software Developer must be comfortable and effective working in both an independent and team-oriented environment.

Typical duties include:
• Working with business and systems users to understand and document requirements.

• Making technical assessments; developing and documenting technical solutions; and

explaining advantages, risks and alternatives.

• Designing, coding and verifying technical solutions.

• Providing time-sensitive support for mission-critical systems.

• Supporting production systems, guaranteeing high availability and reliability.

• Contributing and adhering to best practices throughout the software development life cycle.

• Estimating the level of effort required for projects and tasks.

• Participating in daily scrum and iteration planning activities.

• Participating in regular design and code reviews to ensure that designs are solid and

standards are followed.
