3 Contract positions at a top asset management firm in Boston.

Duration: These are open ended contracts, they should be ongoing for years.

Primary Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years experience working in PACE as a developer writing uploader and exporter code. SQL Server coding is looking upon favorably but not required.

Work with the business community to establish functional requirements for any PACE system process enhancements, including new system functionality, version upgrades, and reporting requirements

Work as part of a team of in-house staff and outside consultants to implement the required changes

Work extensively with business analysts and investment professionals to analyze business problems, assess how they impact development and design, and recommend IT solutions.

Support daily activity of the investment control systems areas by creating and maintaining custom reports and programs and by providing technical support for system and software issues.

Work with multiple businesses and IT areas to quickly resolve issues in a distributed environment.

Ensure that departmental development, testing, and documentation standards are adequately implemented on an on-going basis.

Be able to handle multiple projects and tasks.

Provide regular project status reports to business area and IT management.

Stay abreast of current technological and product trends to ensure the development team can offer company all the tools it needs to keep a competitive edge.

Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
